Second Phase of Ground Validation Sampling Begins

Ground validation sampling for the second phase of the assessment has begun, targeting forest strata that were under-represented in the initial sampling design. Additional plots will improve the statistical precision of carbon stock estimates in mixed and degraded forest types.
