Remote Sensing Team Completes Satellite Image Processing for Northern Districts

The GIS and remote sensing unit has completed radiometric correction and classification of multi-temporal satellite imagery covering all northern survey districts. The processed imagery will be combined with ground-based inventory data to produce spatially continuous canopy density and biomass maps, supporting more precise carbon stock estimation than plot data alone can provide.
